Free 'Esafety event for Parents' - 10th Feb

Know how to protect your children on the internet

You're invited to attend an important event that is free to all parents who want to keep up-to-date with esafety - ensuring your children are safe online.

When: Tuesday 10th February at 6pm

Where: St Mary's School, Mongleath Road, Falmouth, TR11 4PW

What's it all about?

A free presentation focussing on the the dangers on the net such as cyberbullying, grooming, sexting and what happens to information when it is posted online.

Andy Trish, Director of NCI Technologies who is also the founder of www.esafetymatters.com a website focused on the internet safety of children throughout the world, will present you with the latest information on how to keep your children safe and what to look out for.

This isn’t your normal everyday lecture, it is focused on informing parents of the dangers associated with the internet whilst promoting the good things that can also be achieved.  Due to the hard hitting nature of some of the content we highly advise young children do not attend.

Andy will be bringing along an unsuspecting victim to help him present.

If you think you know it all, think again. At least 1 child in 5 in the UK alone is approached online by a stranger.  1 child in 2 worldwide admit to doing things online that their parents wouldn’t approve of. Most children will not tell their parents for fear of losing internet privileges.

Come along, bring a friend, keep your children safe online.
